Privacy policy
Your hours stay on your phone.
In short: HRme doesn’t collect, store or share any of your personal data. It has no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Everything you enter, and any location the app uses, is processed only on your iPhone.
Who we are
HRme is an iPhone app made by MVP App Studio, an independent developer based in the United Kingdom. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean MVP App Studio. You can contact us at [email protected].
What you enter
- HRme stores the things you type in, such as your working hours, breaks, time off, salary, overtime rate, currency, commute details, Bat mode goals and notes, in the app’s own storage on your iPhone.
- It uses them only to do its sums and show them back to you. None of it is sent to us or to anyone else.
- To show your day on the Home Screen widget and your Bat mode countdown in the Dynamic Island, the app shares a small summary with its own widget on your iPhone. That stays on your iPhone too.
Location
- Location is optional. If you save a work location and allow access, HRme uses iOS’s location services to notice when you arrive at or leave that place, so it can prompt you to start or stop your clock. With “Always” access this can happen while the app is closed.
- This happens on your iPhone. Your location is never sent to us or anyone else, and HRme doesn’t keep a history of where you’ve been: it saves only the workplaces you add.
- HRme never logs time on its own. A prompt only opens the app; you confirm with a tap.
- If you search for an address when adding a workplace, HRme uses the address lookup built into iOS. Apple handles that lookup under its own privacy policy; we never see it.
- You can turn location reminders off in the app, or change access at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Location Services › HRme.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, HRme schedules reminders on your iPhone, such as your finish line, going into unpaid time, a start reminder or the end of a Bat mode round. They’re local notifications: no push service or server is involved. You can switch them off in the app or in iOS Settings.
Exports and sharing
Nothing leaves your iPhone unless you choose to share it. When you export your hours as a PDF or spreadsheet, or share a Bat mode card, the file goes to the app you pick in the iOS share sheet. After that, the receiving app’s own privacy policy applies.
What we don’t do
- We don’t collect any personal data, usage data or diagnostics.
- We don’t use accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.
- We don’t sell or share data with anyone, because we don’t have any.
Purchases
If HRme offers optional in-app purchases, they’re handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, Apple Account or payment details. Apple’s privacy policy covers those transactions.
Data stored on your iPhone
Your logs and settings are stored only in the app on your iPhone. Deleting HRme deletes them. Back up anything you want to keep by exporting it first.
Children
HRme doesn’t collect personal data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you have rights to access, correct and delete your personal data. Because we don’t hold any personal data about you, there’s nothing for us to access or delete, but you’re welcome to contact us with any question.
This website
This website uses no cookies, analytics or trackers, and loads nothing from third parties. If you use the light/dark switch, your choice is saved in your browser on your device and never sent anywhere. Our hosting provider may process standard technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the effective date above. If HRme ever starts handling data differently, the policy will say so before the change takes effect.
